Basic Review: Whoever said big was better had obviously never met the 2012 Fiat 200 Abarth. And what’s interesting is that this little car, that’s smaller than even a mini Coop is just perfect for Fiat fans. Now staunch supporters of Fiat will find that the Fiat 500 Abarth is not only a notch higher than the standard 500, but also sleeker to look at, with a definitive aggressive streak to it. With increased power, handling that’s more detailed and precise, tuned in suspension and brakes that have been upgraded, this little hatchback is heavy on the praises. What’s more, the 500 Abarth has got eight hot scorpion badges to add its looks.
The 500 Abarth’s motto happens to be performance. Lowered suspension gives it more rigidity and better road contact. Also, the standard engine has gotten turbocharged, and the car now gives an overall output of 160 horsepower, that’s 60% than that of the standard 500.

Features: This Italian beauty may be small, but its features speak for itself. Spoken for itself, the Abarth from its exterior is functional, aggressive and sleek, while the interior overtakes the driver with the car’s techno-sporty cockpit, all the designs coming together aesthetically and in a stylized way to hold the road and give the driver his need for speed at the same time. Not just that, the smart interior designing provides maximum space, while providing extra storage space, map reading table and much more. In addition to that, the car comes fitted with ‘smart’ pedals to help the driver in case of a collision, by moving out of the way in such a situation, and also helps protect his legs. The Abarth also comes with seven airbags and is fitted with stability control.
Price: Currently, Fiat states that the 500 Abarth will be priced from $22,000 onwards and is expected to be available for sale around spring 2012.
