Job description:
- Own social media, online communities, blogs, message boards, email discussion groups and live chats to generate exposure, publicity and sales
- Be passionately in tune with latest social media developments, online behavior and trends
- Use knowledge gained through analysis to provide insight on forecasting, budgeting and social media marketing direction
- On-page and off-page optimization of websites
- Performing keyword research and analysis for better ranking
- Performing data analysis through Web Analytics tool and identifying areas for improvement
- Evaluate effectiveness of all online marketing programs, draw conclusions and develop recommendations based on results in a timely basis
- Lead generation using Social Media platforms such as Linked In, various Blogs, RSS feeds and general Internet based research
- Understanding of social media universe including YouTube, StumbleUpon, Delicious, Digg, Reddit, Flickr, Forums, Twitter, Wikis, blogs, etc
- Extreme familiarity with online social networking, the blogosphere, search tools and general Web 2.0 (Face book, Twitter, YouTube, Wikipedia, Digg, Technorati, Etc)
- Usage of appropriate tools and continuous evolution of tools and techniques
- Excellent written communication skills and a flair for using social networking and online jargon
- Knowledge of Email Promotions
- Must have done SEO for E-commerce websites
- PPC (Google, Yahoo, MSN) knowledge would be plus
- Knowledge of HTML, XML, CSS & related tools
- Good Communication and HTML knowledge
- Performing keyword research & analysis for better ranking
Roles & Resposibilities:
- Responsible for developing and executing a clearly defined social media strategy that supports marketing & customer support initiatives while increasing brand equity and online awareness
- Participating in Social Media Networking Websites to build network and drive traffic to website
- Participating in Social news and Social bookmarking websites to get traffic
- Recommend innovative web-marketing ideas
- Manage, monitor and engage in social media, internet communities
- Identify opportunities and develop plans/proposals for implementing scalable social media programs to generate maximum social media optimization
- Analyze analytics reports and produce relevant reports for the management
- Work on quick search engine indexing of websites
- Research, understand, and stay up-to-date on the latest search engine algorithms, rules, techniques and trends
- Optimize various web site components including title tags, meta-descriptions, keyword density, internal linking, site map, etc
- Directories Submission, Articles, Blogs, Forums, Link building
- Improve site architecture by collaborating with marketing, content development, technical and creative teams to ensure SEO
- Responsible for designing and driving customer ‘reach-out’ initiatives such as Newsletter, Publishing Articles, Publishing Blogs – Video - Webinars on the internet
- Tracking and measuring effectiveness of all above initiatives, techniques and making necessary improvements wherever required
- Drive traffic by achieving top rankings in various Search Engines like Google, Yahoo & MSN
