The Visa Bulletin March 2011 has been released by State Department. It was a big disappointment for Indian nationals. As in employment category as there was no major improvement in the priority dates. For Eb2 category the priority date has been stagnated at 08 May 2006. And for Eb3 category the date moved from 22 Feb 02 to 15 March 02.

For Chinese nationals there was something to rejoice as there was slight forward movement in the dates. For Eb2 category it inched by a week from 01 July 06 to 8 July 06 and for Eb3 category the date moved forward by 3 weeks (from 01 Jan 04 to 22 Jan 04).

As you can see in the table above, there was no forward movement in the priority dates for EB2 category for India in the last eight months. There is very little movement in the EB3 category and was updated five times in the last 8 months. It inched by one or two weeks each time.

For Chinese nationals, it was a bit encouraging. Both for EB2 and EB3 categories it showed some positive movement, as the dates were updated five seven times in last 8 months.

But nobody can deny the fact that Indian nationals (Eb2 category) need a miracle to boost their morals. And lets hope that Visa Bulletin April 2011 brings smile on the faces.
