The USA green card lottery or otherwise known as the diversity visa lottery program is the key to getting the permanent resident status in the US. So, each entry will have an equal chance of being selected.

The first registered case within each country will be the first entry selected randomly. Once the process is over, the winners will be notified via mail. To check the status of their entry, confirmation number will be given at the time of submitting the application. Further instructions and fee information will be sent to the applicants. The interview will be conducted after a period of four to six weeks and then, the visas will be issued.
