Volvo is working on its next generation model XC90 which is expected to bow in 2013. The new 2013 Volvo XC90 model seems to drag inspiration from Volvo’s “You” and “Universe” concept cars.

Sizzling 2013 Volvo xc90

The Volvo XC90 is now ten years old, and it has gone through without any redesign in this whole period. Well, it won’t have any change for 2013 either, but it’s getting a facelift. This renovation won’t be the major one. There will be new daytime running lights, a new set of taillights and a redesigned bumper. There will be new lower door moldings and some changes to the interiors as well.

The new owners of Volvo will see diamonds hidden in 2013 Volvo XC90. The stylish 7 seat SUV idea would be fantastic for the Chinese market. It is also stated that Volvo will make a minor renovation for Volvo XC90 in late 2011. This would not involve any major physical changes but the Grille, wheels, cabin colour pallet and light clusters will be improved.

The mechanically different model which would be launching in 2013 could be larger but the car’s weight will not increase. Volvo is planning to use lightweight materials and genius construction techniques.

The new 2013 Volvo XC90 could help increasing the marketplace of Volvo in U.S. where it needs a decent presence. The Volvo XC90 is going head to head with Mercedes GL-class and Audi Q7. Price of this car is not yet revealed but it has been considered that 2013 Volvo XC90 would be the best model to attract sports car lovers.
