Company has announced to release the car in the month of November 2012. This is a mid-sized plug-in hybrid model, which is developed in Japan. Two versions of 2013 Honda Accord will be released. Those versions are U.S./China/Asia version and Japanese/European.
Modifications are done in the engine of this new plug-in hybrid model. Engine of the car contains a set of 4 inline cylinders, .0L, 2.4L, and V6.3.45L. A special attention has been given towards effectiveness of the drive i.e. why in the 4th cylinder of .0L a two-motor system is fitted, which moves in a steady motion through three different modes. That two-motor system increases the effectiveness when the car is taken on drive.
Honda Accord will be having petrol-electric, all-electric, and engine direct-drive modes. This superb car can give a mileage of 10-15 miles with fully charged electric battery. One can charge the battery fully in 1.5 hours with a 240V outlet.

The car comprises ventilated front disc and rear disk brakes with 4- heel ABS, airbags mounted at front end, seat belt, child locks, child seat anchors, head rests for front and back seats, security alarm to keep car safe from thieves, etc. Car experts are considering it as a fuel efficient car. It will be having a large fuel tank with capacity of 17.1 gal. Price of the car is still not revealed but according to car experts this will not be costly for those who want the trust of Honda.
